Coffee originates from Africa, specifically from Kenya, in the region of Kirinyaga (Mt. Kenya, Nyeri). Kiangoi is a member of the Rungeto cooperative, established in 1953 and comprising approximately 3,500 farmers. Coffee plants of the SL28, SL34 varieties grow on fertile, volcanic soil at an altitude of 1,700–1,800 m a.s.l.. The beans undergo Washed processing, carefully selected in grade AA+.
In the cup: full-bodied, slightly tart with notes of rhubarb, strawberries and a floral background. Recommended for filter brewing methods (V60, AeroPress, Chemex, Kalita, Moccamaster, Melitta).
