This coffee originates from Cuba, from the region of Sierra Maestra, from plantations located near the Pico Turquino peak. It is grown at an altitude of 1400–1800 m n.p.m. and belongs to the Arabica species, Typica variety.
The beans have undergone Washed processing, which affects the clean and balanced character of the brew.
The coffee has been roasted to a medium level and is suitable for espresso and filter brewing methods. The flavor profile features notes of toasted caramel, smoky tobacco, chocolatey, and dried nuts, with a high sweetness and delicate bitterness.
